Maximizing potential through targeted career and education supports
Katie Young has been one of the facilitators for the Future Link seminar since spring 2014. She enjoys getting to know each student and wants him or her to succeed – sometimes more than they do! Katie’s strengths are building relationships with the students and creating a space for these young adults to flourish and learn. Katie is excited for the opportunity, as Student Outreach Coordinator, to follow up with the alumni, connecting them to one another through networking and encouraging them along their educational and career journeys. A native of Montgomery County, Katie graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase high school and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ithaca College. She can personally appreciate what these young adults have to overcome to reach their goals and looks forward to guiding them along the way.
